Our pack tends to go on two outdoor camping trips per year. The camping trips are usually two night, though some families stay for one night or even just a day. One is usually to Camp Durant, and the other is with our pack alone. Parents are required to camp alongside their Cub Scouts.

On these camping trips, the Cub Scouts learn valuable skills. Each den is required to cook one of the meals.

During these trips our Cubs have learned how to rock climb, use a sling shot, archery, fishing, and about the nature and wild life around them. All activities are supervised by at least a pair of adults, and the parents are encouraged to go on every activity.
